A Rockport man who police say frequently dressed as a ninja was sentenced to probation after pleading guilty to a pair of weapons charges.

Nicholas P. Dragonas, 25, of 34 South St., Rockport, was sentenced to one year probation by Judge Joseph Jennings in Gloucester District Court yesterday after pleading guilty to charges of possession of a firearm without an firearms identification card and possession of chemical Mace without an firearms identification card. He was also ordered to pay a $50 fine after pleading guilty to illegal possession of fireworks charges.

Dragonas had charges of marijuana possession with intent to distribute and carrying a dangerous weapon dismissed at the request of the commonwealth.

The makers of this video say they're sorry. I don't believe them, but they WILL be if a real ninja sees it, takes offense and then hunts them down. But what is absolutely priceless is that these guys used a safety mat when doing these amazingly dangerous stunts...on the grass. They even fail at the "ninja run"--small steps, bent posture, one arm straight out--which FYI, no real ninja would be caught dead doing. Enjoy.

What people misunderstand about this poster is who the ninja is. It's not the guy sneaking a drink. He was caught in the act. NOT a ninja. The real ninja is the girl, who laced her drink with poison. The guy stealing a drink was her target.

Ninja Assassin - the movie! Excited about this BUT 1. It sounds like they got Master Splinter to narrate and 2. The opening sequence with the young ninja boy with the shaved head looks like a serious rip-off of 300. That said, this looks like the first big budget ninja movie that COULD be really good in a non-campy way.
